A.C.E. The Breakdown pt1

This workshops explores the history of over 50 years of research on the impact of the British Education System on Afrikan Heritage children and the way in which this relates to the socio-economic and Political standing of the Black community. Establishing the fact that the BES is Eurocentric, we examine this as a reason for the retrogressive impact it produces. From this foundation we examine the role that a positive self-image plays in the Education process and lay the foundation for an Afrikan Centred self-awareness as a motivational educational paradigm. The value of ACE is established through looking at the success stories of existing state schools.
